Nomination Criteria
Automatic nomination:
Gatorade Player of the Year
All-American honors
Consideration (must meet at least one criterion):
District and/or OSAA classification state Player of the Year
Recognition on a local or national club or summer team (i.e. Area Code, Perfect Game, Team USA, American Legion AAA, Mound Time Baseball)
State or OSAA classification leader in combined major offensive or pitching statistical categories
All-state or District first team selection, as voted on by coaches
At-large nominations:
An athlete may be nominated by a member of the Oregon Sports Awards voting panel
An athlete may be nominated by a coach, sports information director or athletic director. Nominations must be submitted to the Oregon Sports Awards team
