Nomination Criteria
Automatic nomination:
Gatorade Player of the Year
Repeat OSAA classification state Player of the Year
All-American honors
Consideration (must meet at least one criterion):
District or OSAA classification state Player of the Year, as voted on by coaches
Recognition on a club softball team (i.e. Northwest Bullets, Eugene Ice, Beverly Bandits) or in a select or national tournament
All-state first team honors
State or OSAA classification leader in combined major offensive or pitching statistical categories
At-large nominations:
An athlete may be nominated by a member of the Oregon Sports Awards voting panel
An athlete may be nominated by a coach, sports information director or athletic director. Nominations must be submitted to the Oregon Sports Awards team
